HAWKE HTS ACCESSORIES

BACKING PLATE:

Backing Plate

To maintain the openings through the walls and floors and add to the finished appearance of the installation.

Copper Tape

Cooper Tape

The copper tape is an accessory that enables the installer to ‘Cut Back’ cable outer sheath down to the armour and then bind the cable with copper tape back to its original diameter. Used specifically for EMC Application.

Provided to build up to the insert blocks and the stripped cable. The cable outer sheath should be stripped to a maximum width of 2cm to expose the cable screen. All the cables require the removal of the outer sheath to achieve contact between the cable screen and the blocks. The copper EMI shielding tape with

conductive adhesive is wrapped around the cable screen until the nominal outside diameter of the cable is achieved.

This is important to ensure complete conductance of the electromagnetic pulses/fields in the inner walls of the steel frame against earth.

Measuring Tape

Measuring Tape

The tape enables cable diameters to be accurately measured thus ensuring that the correct size of block is selected for the cable diameter.

Stainless Steel Stayplates

This piece of equipment ensures that each complete row of filler/insert blocks are held in position during assembly and cannot be dislodged by weight of cable.

Installed to anchor insert and filler blocks into the frame and easy assembly.
They also increase the conductance throughout the frame.

Important: Stayplates cannot be installed in contact with the metallic frame or compression plate.

981 Compression Tool

981 Compression Tool

Hawke’s unique Compression Tool simplifies the process of compressing tolerant blocks within X type frames and speeds installation considerably when compared to competitors methods. The Hawke 981 re-usable Compression Tool is proven to reduce installation time considerably when compared to competitors methods.

Simplification speeds installation of Hawke Compression System..
Hawke’s unique re-usable 981 Compression Tool simplifies the process of compressing tolerant/insert blocks within Hawke Civil and Marine Transit Frames.
When in use the 981 compression tool is centrally located on top of compression plate.

965 Polystyrene Moulds

Polystyrene mould

Are used to form cavities within solid concrete structures. This avoids the need for heavy cumbersome wooden shuttering.

966 Intumescent Mastic

Hawke 966 Mastic is most often used in civil applications when a frame is installed on an uneven or rough surface/structure Hawke 966 Mastic should be applied to the area of the structure to which the frame is being fixed. The specified amount of 966 mastic then provides a cushion on which the frame sits. When the frame is secured to the structure the Hawke 966 Mastic ensure that no hazard Fire/Gas/Water can pass between the structure and the frame.

967 Lubricant

Lubricant

Hawke 967 Lubricant:

  • Is applied inside each frame and around each insert/filler block to enable the rubber components to move across each other without binding.
  • Is not an adhesive.
  • Is odourless and contains no substances requiring notification under CHIP 3 regulations 2002.
